I am SO excited to introduce the newest member of the Priester family!! Her name is Bensen. There is a funny story behind her name. For the first few weeks, we thought she was a boy. That’s why she has a blue collar on in some of these. When I took her to the vet, even the veterinarian’s assistant thought Bensen was a boy! When I was told she was a girl, I was completely shocked. But by that time she already had learned her name, so it stuck with her. It’s always a funny story to tell people when they ask me how I got her name. I remember just searching, “cute boy cat names”, on google. I fell in love with that name! It totally fits her too. It’s funny because I never thought I’d get into cat photography, but here I am!  Haha!

Bensen is the first cat I ever got, and our first pet together as well! She gets all the attention in our house, and is always with me. I love how she follows me everywhere! She loves to sleep right under my chin every night too-it’s the cutest!

These are just a few of my favorite pictures of Bensen that I have taken so far. My definite favorite is the one of her swaddled in the orange wrap. You should have seen me taking that photo! I put my camera on a tripod and set it on a timer. Holding up Bensen, (I edited out my hand later) I had to get her to look at the camera with me next to her. I ended up using one of her favorite toys-which explains the adorable look she gave here. We love her so much!!
