West Bloomfield Michigan Newborn Photographer
Shayaan was such a good sleeper for me! He was 4 weeks old and such a chunky monkey! I loved his little cheeks and rolls. One fun thing about working with older babies is that they have plenty of chunk and it’s so much fun to photograph! I will be sharing some tips on photographing older newborns, so be sure to check it out below! As a West Bloomfield Michigan Newborn Photographer I can say with certainty that I have the absolute best clients!
Tips on Photographing Older Newborn Babies
One tip for photographing older newborns is to be sure to photograph them in the morning. They sleep best in the early morning/afternoon time. Even as with younger newborns-patience is a big factor as well. Sometimes it can take a little time to get a baby settled into their pose. It is always worth the wait, though! Lastly, keeping the room you photograph the baby in is very important. Babies can’t regulate their body temperatures as adults do. Because of that, they can get cold very easily. It was 98.6 inside their mommy’s belly, so babies like to be kept warm like it was in the womb.
I had so many favorites from our session together. Shayaan’s rolls were so cute, especially in the pictures I got from above. I mean seriously, what can be cuter than baby wrinkles? But the one of him in the teddy bear hat definitely takes the cake and was my absolute favorite! He is the cutest little guy ever! I hope you enjoy their sneak peek 🙂
