Delilah was such a sweetheart! I loved how she even opened her eyes for us in some of the shots-that’s rare! I have truly enjoyed working as a Novi Mi Newborn Photographer because of all the wonderful clients I get to meet!

It was so fun to see this family again! I photographed Weston as a newborn, and both him and his brother have grown so much! Check out his newborn photos by clicking here! Watching families grow is definitely my favorite part about being a photographer. I loved watching them with their sister. They were so gentle and loved holding her. I just know they will be the best big brothers ever!

Getting the Best Sibling Photos

Clients can prepare their children to get great sibling photos. One thing I recommend is to let them hold the new baby at home. It can help kids to get comfortable. Since some kids are shy, I will usually talk with them before we do the photos. Kids will open up if you joke with them and make them feel at ease being with you. It’s another great idea to do the session well before nap time. In that case, I do start newborn sessions earlier so it doesn’t mess with nap time. Last but not least, there are always bribes! When all else fails, candy always works. Sweet tarts are great because they don’t stain the mouth-and kids love them!

I had so many favorites photographing sweet little Delilah! I had many favorites from our session, too! Sibling shots are always my favorite, I love watching the connection they have! Delilah also looked so adorable in the Cinderella carriage. It’s one of my favorite props to use! I am looking forward to editing the rest of their session!
