Paperless Post | A Review by Jen Priester Photography

Paperless Post

I have always been someone who cares about the environment and try to reduce my carbon footprint on the earth. As a photographer, I have clients who use paper for many things when booking a session with me. Since I photograph weddings, newborns, babies, parties, and families, there are many cards that will go out. I even offer cards as a product for clients-birth announcements, wedding invitations, thank you cards, Christmas cards, and even birthday party invites. I recently heard about Paperless Post and I was very impressed and am excited to show it to my clients!

As someone who struggles to send out a Christmas card every year, Paperless Post is the answer!  Many people are short on time and are unable to both order cards and get to the post office to mail them out. That’s not even talking about all the addresses you have to find to put on the envelopes! Paperless Post has online cards available to send via email, and the best part is-it’s free! They do have a small fee for premium designs, and have some really beautiful card templates, too!

I put together some mock ups with a few of their designs so you can see how beautiful they are! I love how they have so many options available, too! They have invitations for birthdays, weddings, parties, and more! There are also cards of all kinds, and something they recently began to offer are flyers.

I’m a “Millennial” myself, it has been fun watching technology advance over the years. As a kid, we would spend all day outside, video games were still somewhat new. As a teenager, we would spend hours on the phone talking-now we have texting! I have now seen people moving on from sending out physical cards and sending them online. Since everyone has a phone nowadays, they can see it immediately and easily respond with their RSVP within minutes.
