Cherishing Little Moments: Upstate Newborn Photographer Captures Baby Ayaan

Hi there! I’m Jen, the heart behind Jen Photos, your friendly Upstate Newborn Photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina. There’s something magical about newborn photography that’s kept me hooked for almost 16 years. From the tiny fingers to the gentle coos, these fleeting moments are so special. Now that I have had my own baby, I completely understand how fast it all goes and I am so thankful to have all the photos to cherish forever. I feel incredibly lucky to be trusted by families to preserve them. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable baby boy named Ayaan. This newborn shoot was extra special because Ayaan’s parents are dear friends of mine. They wanted something timeless, so we went with soft whites and hints of blue, with some cute props and hats thrown in for that classic look. Ayaan, snug in tiny hats and fun props, snoozed peacefully through most of the session. He was such a dream to work with!

Newborn photography isn’t just about taking pretty pictures—it’s about storytelling. Every baby brings their own little personality, even in those early days, and it’s my mission to capture that essence. Over the years, I’ve learned that patience and flexibility are key. Babies operate on their own schedules, and that’s perfectly fine. A little cuddle or feeding break? No problem. My goal is to create a relaxed, stress-free environment so both baby and parents can enjoy the experience.
