Lia was the sweetest little lady with a head full of hair! It’s always so much fun for me to bring out all the girly props and headbands! This Birmingham Michigan Newborn Photoshoot was one of my favorites. Lia was a great sleeper for us and did so well for her photo session!
Preparing for your Newborn Photography Session
It’s important that newborn babies be nice and sleepy for their photo sessions. Babies will generally be sleepy, but if you can prepare them for the session, it can help it go more smoothly. Keeping a baby awake before their session can also help! You can give an oil massage or give a bath, it’s a great way to stimulate the baby. Babies will generally start their session with me by eating and getting their bellies nice and full. It always makes for a great newborn photography shoot! I had so many favorites from working with Lia. She even gave us a little smile in the baby carriage. It was the cutest! I also loved the shot with Lia surrounded by the colorful flowers. Bringing out the flowers when photographing babies is one of my favorite things to do! You can view Lia’s sneak peek by looking below.
