I was very excited when I got to meet Leo for the first time. He not only has the cutest little face ever, but he has a full head of hair, too! He certainly made us work for his session, he was more interested in looking around and seeing what we were doing. I definitely had a blast working with him and love my job as a Highland Mi Newborn Photographer!

Using Meaningful Props

There were some adorable props that Leo’s family wanted me to shoot with him that they brought. It’s always so cool to be able to capture things that have special meanings in newborn sessions. I’d have to say that the lion was probably my favorite prop- and it’s fitting with his name being Leo! We also captured a shot of Leo with a cute stuffed moose that belonged to his great grandmother. I love how it turned out!

I had so many favorites from photographing Leo for his newborn photography session. I’d have to save one of my absolute favorites was probably the one with Leo sleeping in the moon. He looked so peaceful and relaxed, and the moon hat was too cute! I also loved the one of Leo sleeping in the wooden hammock. He had the cutest expression on his face.
